Let me give you the details. Changed front brakes, driver side front wheel bearings, shocks all around along with front springs and front axle on drivers side. When I was changing passenger side shock / spring the axle slipped out at the top boot. Got the axle back in and put everything back in place, thought I was good to go. Test drove and put it in 4x4 and service 4x4 light came on and 4x4 did not engage, then did and was stuck in 4x4 then out again into 2wd and would not engage. Did some research and found that the TCCM goes bad in 02 envoy so replaced that and took it to dealer to have it flashed. Dealer couldn't communicate with new TCCM so said they'd find the problem. Found out TCCM I put in was bad so they replaced that then had to replace to more modules. 4x4 acctuator (spelling) turned out to be what they figured problem to be. Picked it up and 4wd service lights were off and lights on switch were working again so I figured problem solved, never put in 4x4 to test. Fast forward one week and I replaced wheel bearing on passenger side. All problems I had to begin with were solved, on test drive after replacing passenger side wheel bearing I figured I should try 4x4 since I hadn't checked it since dealer repairs. I engage and there's the service light again and in and out of 4x4. Now service light is back on and switch lights are out and 4x4 won't engage. My question is did I screw something up when doing my repairs on passanger side? I have an appointment for dealer to look at their work but before I go in and accuse them of shotty work I want to be sure I am not at fault. Any help would be appreciated. BTW - have checked both fuses and all fluids have been changed as well.... Read More »
